B Closeness

Gently, slowly, so very slowly, lays her head
Soft breath, she breathes softly against his undulating downy
chest
Nestled close, encircled in his arms, his body warms the bed
Her body lies; content at peace, for she knows she has the best.
Reflections, flicker through the mind
Dreams of her, golden haired and bronzed, his greatest find
His smile lies, calm, untroubled and untrammeled in deepest
slumber
Too high for him, he thought, a Goddess bedecked in amber.
Sweet smell of him, seeps into her nostrils as she floats to Morpheus's
lair
Dreaming cherished moments, a glance, a knowing look, a night of fire
and passion
Many times have they joined as one, sated they now lie, entwined in
tenderness and care
Their closeness can't be bought; it is a permanent obsession
As they grow old, lie they will, as they do now
Still strong, their closeness is their greatest vow
She'll know she has the best, he'll know, she's still his greatest
find
Together eternally in closeness, they will be bound in body and in
mind.
