If I knew,
If I knew it would be the last time,
That I could see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly,
And pray to the lord for you safe keep.
If I knew it would be the last time,
That I would see you walk out my door,
I would give u a kiss and a hug,
And then call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be my last time,
I would spare an extra minute,
To stop and say "I love you",
Instead of just assuming you already know I do.
For surely there is always a tomorrow,
To make up for todays oversight,
And we always get a second chance,
To make everything right.
There will always be another day to say "I love you",
Always another chance to say "I'm sorry" too.
But in case I might be wrong,
And today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you,

For tomorrow is never promised to anyone,
Young or old alike,
And today may be my last chance,
I get to hold u tight.
So instead of waiting for tomorrow,

And that ill always hold you dear.
Take time to say "I'm sorry",
"please forgive me", "thank you" or "everything's ok",
And if tomorrow never comes,
Ill have no regrets about today.
