THE DARK TOWER PART THREE
Stemming southeast I witnessed myself drowning,
Flung about in a bubble a world unseen.
Ebon evil frothing from thy unclean lungs,
Back to the flora with country green.
I paused to wash in the bosom of a lake,
Each pearl of wet felt good on my neck.
Near now a hundred hills dusty, vapor locked,
Beckoned me on, roaring voices innumerable rocked.
Silence as I ate just the groan of my tum,
Sounding like the cover of a coffin and the mourners that come.
Suddenly my nape felt tremulous like a rattlesnake under my skin,
Was I being watched from eyes starring in?
Past the cherry blossom spring I could see a man,
Stature still just smiling at me.
Pointing to Grey walls with a slender hand,
Then venturing foreword to where I stand.
Face shadowed like the mists tuned to mine,
Foggy words started to agitate and unwind.
Teeth hissed out "Why do you approach"
It was an almost liquid moan.
"Why do you persist with this folly old man?
Dark powers are too strong for you to withstand.
Spells will bail force to make you shiver,
Aren't you tired of this old man."
"I don't dread the Dark Lord noir siblings like you.
Tell your master this I have mastered a hex that is new."
Old man you presume too much that will be your doom,
I would slay you here but Master wants you intact for now.
"Do you remember when you were young Mage?"
"I remember so well."
"Ahhhh your mind tells a story let me into thy vault.
