Always there when we needed you
Always there when we cried
But where were you going
On the night that you died.

Where were we, when you needed us
We never showed you we cared

Never present when you needed to talk
Never around when you had problems to share
Too busy living our own unimportant lives
Never home when life was too hard to bear

You gave us everyday of your life
