So you're Leaving!

You have always been here for me,
In sickness and in health,
We've talked about so many things,
Laughed about our lack of wealth!

There were some times when I was down,
But you were always there,
You reminded me that sometimes joy
Comes through a deep despair.

We sat together laughing
About things too rude to say!
You've always been there for me,
But now you're going away.

Deep down inside I'm happy!
I hope that you can tell.
I wish you all the best in life!
I know that you'll do well.

Just stop and think of me sometimes
And the happy days we shared,
All the funny things we said,
You were always there.

Did I tell you that I'll miss you?
Is it fair of me to say ,
That I really wish you wouldn't go!
That I really wish you'd stay!

But I know its something you must do,
You really have to go,
So I'll hide the tears within my heart,
As we say "adios" "cheerio".
