A short walk

One summers evening Zo? decided to go for a walk in the warm summers
breeze.
She walks through a cornfield and see's a great big black lab-pulling
Rob along.
Rob says hi and manages to drag trooper (the black lab) to a
halt.
Zo? asks Rob where he's heading and if she can join him, as she doesn't
feel like walking alone.
Rob says of course and tells her he is heading up sharp edge while the
weather stays fine.
Zo? bends down to say hi to trooper.
Trooper jumps on her and does the usual fussy welcome to people who he
thinks are nice.
Zoe falls backwards and starts to laugh and asks for hand to get
trooper off.
Trooper loosed interest however because Zo? has no food on her, Rob
goes over to Zo? to help her up.
Zo? asks if the owner is as friendly as the dog.
Depends what you mean Rob says with a wink.
Winks back, starts to walk with Rob and trooper.
They suddenly reach the rocky scramble they call sharp edge and sit by
the tarn beneath the decent.
They sit and Zo? asks what would Rob like to happen over the next
couple of months?
Rob replies 'what fortune may bring me'
Rob asks Zoe what she wants to happen?
Zo? says she wants to find someone to love and call hers
Rob says that if it is meant to be the right person could be just round
the corner (but obviously not on sharp edge - very remote)
Zo? says she'll find a nice corner and wait for her love, then starts
to laugh.
Rob says that you waiting for love can be a mind numbingly boring thing
which makes your heart ache too much, so why not stay with me and let
it happen on it's own.
Zo? thinks about what has been said and says friendship can be better
than love if the person is a true friend, so I'll stay for a
while.
Rob reassures Zo? that he is a true friend and so welcomes the
company.
Zo? glances at her watch and says, she is very sorry but she had better
be going before it gets dark.
