The trigger

Back in the eighties in my early forties I was successful in
business,a keen sporting weekender,I suppose "to-days man", a regular
guy as they say.
Enter my mid-life-crisis.....I recall at the funeral of a contemporary
friend.......a very emotional service for she had died young from
cancer,leaving two teenage children......the pastor remarked....don't
ask why but where!
It was later that the small voice within triggered my response when
tears openly flowed the first since a boy and i knew not why.A few
years later I leanrt God speaks to us in many ways and this experience
helped to activate a Christian commitment that brought emotional and
spiritual shalom into my life that I had not known in my first 48 years
on this earth.
