War!

I spoke to a soldier just the other day...

All we could do was cry

He tried just as hard as I did but really all we could do was cry...

He spoke of people dying for no reason while the only difference seemed to be the season

He spoke of children carrying guns like it was Christmas all year round!

After being shot at with some of the rounds, All he could do was take aim and close his eyes

Afraid to open them again, he called on his friend only to find him shot again and again...

He told me of his return home only to find people not understanding that all he could really do was close his eyes.

He swore never to return there and I asked for his forgiveness in having to take him back there.
