Winter blues

WINTER BLUES: S.A.D

I woke this morning feeling very down
I found it hard to smile
It was a lot easier to frown
I know a lot of this is in my head
But it is hard to shake
It's easier just to stay in bed.

Don't draw the curtains
Nor open the window
The weather is out there
And usually it's bad
Never sunny or even just fair
I wish the winter was over
It's starting to become a nightmare.

It's dark and dismal,
Just started raining and it's cold
Winter is just miserable.
I think I'll go away
Find somewhere sunny and warm
Escape these winter blues,greys or darker shades
Oh! Roll on the summer
When darkness fades.
