Animal Crackers

I really think that the Gnu
Is out of place inside a zoo
Upon green grass he likes to feast
This noble bod the Wildebeest
I also think that the Gnu
Prefers his proper name, don’t you?
Oh noble bod, oh Wildebeest
Stay on your grassland, graze in peace.

I am inclined to think…say… twice
When asked, if I am fond of mice
But then again, I much prefer
To feel their soft and fluffy fur
So…yes…I say, I like mice
If compared to a head of lice!

I hate fish especially cod
I ‘m not Inuit so, thank God

Grimace or groan

I always think that the Polar Bear
Should never ever stand and stare
Because he looks so innocent
And nothing menacing seems meant
But, my friend, if you get too close
You’re likely to fall comatose
