Spent

Spent like my last nickel on a bag of tasty treats

down at the store along our secret paths

where young teeth eventually gave way to old

that is how I feel today

I give my all

enjoy my moments

time slips on by

I am that nickel

hopefully I spent it wisely

sweet moments
