Too Late

Jimmy recieved a message from his boss telling him to be in his office at 8:00 tommorow morning and not to be late. "Oh, promotion time" he says to himself with careless demeanor. It's 7:38am the next day. He overslept, and his workplace is very far away. He paces himself as he wakes up, gets dressed, and runs out the door. He got in his car and took off down the street, swerving to dodge a pedestrian, and running a red light at a nearby intersection. He loses a cop who tries to pull him over, only to get stuck behind every slow driver on the highway. It's now 7:50, he gets off at the exit where his workplace is and has to stop for gas. Eight minutes later he arrives at work, but the clock is ticking. He's asked by the computer at the main entrance to enter his employee ID #. Bieng frustrated, he punches it over and over again as it keeps telling him "Access denied, that employee ID is not correct. Please enter a valid employee ID number." Finally, an incoming co-worker shows up and gains access to the gate and Jimmy follows him through it. He races past the front desk not even remembering to clock in, the time is now 8:00. He runs over a co-worker carrying a large amount of paperwork spilling it everywhere as he arrived in front of his bosses door. But the time changes to 8:01 as Jimmy walks in the office. The door automatically shuts behind him as security cameras with mounted machine guns were aimed at it. Jimmy's boss stood up, looked at him and pulled out a flamethrower, and said, "JIMMY! YOUR LATE! YOUR FIRED!
