For how many years
Were their feelings held under?
Why were they silent so long?
And how many chances
Came by and went by
For fear that they'd be in the wrong?

Feelings unspoken and undeclared love
As tragi-time trickles on by
And the day that it came out -
When their passion-gates burst -
The Universe let out a sigh.

Signals and symbols
Told the story so clear
But the risks seemed so frightening and huge.
But Time's never wasted
Timing's always just right
So they danced to that wild Cosmic fugue.

Right-wrong confusion and dreams coming true
Moments that will last for all time.
The hopes and the fears
Oh! The intoxication
As the heart chakras open and shine.

The world is fast changing
The future's unclear
But isn't it always like this?
Yet their hugs feel so lovely,
Their caresses so right
And there's surges and sparks as they kiss.

Where can this be going?
What becomes of this Love?
Is it really so hard to resolve?
