Swan
Your radiance startled me so,
Your utter beauty left me breathless I just stood and stared drinking
you in,
It couldn't be true is that really you?
The girl I knew back then wore braces,
And she like I was only ten,
You wore pigtails and looked oh so silly in your little piny.
But now you are a women that much is true,
And I feel I must be near you,
I just want to squeeze you and hold you tight,
But that would never be right.
You hardly knew me then when we were ten,
That was then I will turn and go to leave,
And wipe my tears on my sleeve.
