Fading

deep into the darkened despair
feather to float me down with care
safely into the black abyss
all the terror can't be missed
all I think and all I've thought
with heart and soul can never be bought
my life is flashing before my eyes
my greed, my pity, my passion in my demise.
now i fade into the grey
never again to see another day.
