Innocence of Night

The crisp wind blew hard
Across the meadow of snow,
While the full moon rose
With such a golden glow.
Nature's glorious charm
Of her purity in white,
Radiating beautifully against
The solitude of night.
Peace reigned supreme
In this corner of the Earth,
By which such beauty
Innocence is given birth.
Such is this place
Of peace and harmony,
So distant and removed
From man's cruelties.
