DAYSLEEPERS
As the light of day fades away
The sunset comes at this lonely hour
The beauty and all the grace of love's last sonnet
The darkness seeks out those who own it
Traveling in groups for the chase
Soaring in the sky like birds of a feather
The unoriginal societies below
They are far less than how they see themselves
The gleaming eyes of the forever young
Ageless as the time that has forgotten them
The cry of the innocent is oh so sweet
The power of their dark beauty transcends the weak
The heartbeats for an endless time
The great hunt and chase
Follow the undying forces of
What lies in the minds of superstitious men
Fear and loathing
The dance of the immortals
To take the last breath of life's blood
For which the pleasure is all theirs
