The glass sits there with a miniscule
crack on the top corner of it. All the
other cups have been taken, the cuboard
is empty nothing but the crumbs slowly
overruling the space of the others.
The cup so empty, so lonely just sitting
in that one corner of the cuboard left,
no-one else needing a drink or even
slightly thinking about cleaning it.
So dirty sitting on the plastic bottom,
no longer looking appealing, when it was
first brought so shiny it looked, so
pretty, it made your eyes attract straight
to it, but not any more, its worn out and
no longer needed.
Its existance is not needed or wanted, just
slowly breaking down, crack by crack,
looking as if, if you pick it up it will
just fall into pieces and turn it to miniscule
pieces of glass shattered across the floor.
Those pieces will just be swept away, like
they were never once used or needed and thrown
into a bin, a bin full of loads of worthless
items and objects, no longer is this glass
needed, its been forgotton about now.
