Your Love
Like a warm glow from a winter's fire,
A gentle kiss of loving desire,
A rainbow after the storm dies down,
A flag of truce on battled ground,
Or a snowdrop's beauty on a snowy day,
Your love reaches out this way.
Like birds singing in the trees,
A sound of humming from the bees,
A gentle flowing of a stream,
A warm embrace of a sun beam,
Or a carpet of bluebells in May,
Your love reaches out this way.
Like smiling babies in mothers' arms
A soft sweet voice that calms,
A first word spoken by a child,
A first step taken as parents' smiled
Or memories of happy days at play,
Your love reaches out this way.
