She sat in the middle of a cold, cracked floor,
Watching, waiting, staring at the door.
Her heart was dieing and her life was gone,
She didn’t want to move, she couldn’t go on.
Her heart was locked, sealed and the key thrown away,
No one had the words for her, what could they say.
Her song was gone, and her melody lost,
She didn’t know the consequences, what was the cost.
The confusion was too much for her to bare,
No one had listened to her, no one had cared.
She tried to worn them, she tried to say,
But they didn’t listen, so she stared in dismay.
Now they were gone, and she was alone,
Her life was destroyed, like after a cyclone.
Things had changed since she last saw them,
Her sight was like looking through a broken, cracked gem.
Her heart was sinking like a ship,
In the deep waters, it would slowly dip.
Her voice was gone now, she could not speak,
Her face was pale, her eyes were weak.
She listened so hard, she thought she heard…
But alas it was only a little blue bird.
So she gave up, she couldn’t go on any more,
So her life had ended, behind a closed door
