I fell in love in Brussels
At a new year's eve party
She wore a white dress
Her eyes were luring
I kept silent
And have never seen
Such a girl
Until last night
In the small hours
There she was
My restless torment
Lying by my side
Urging me closer still
We loved endlessy
Whilst the night paled
She wore a white smile
Her eyes were love
I was in love
I kept silent
I wish i hadn't
It was you, wasn't it ?
-------------------------
At the corner of an unfamiliar room
I found a portal
that floated me into the night
On a searching interruption
until I saw her
by a window in misty light
She summoned me
into her arms and
we embraced until the dream faded
This morning gnawing feeling
of being alone,
tormentingly unable to find the door
The grey realm of reality
fills my heart,
foggy memories are embalmed
I fell in love with her.
Was it you?
Will you recognise me if we meet again?
----------------------------------------------
At the beginning of time
I was part of you
You were part of me
Would it be forever?
A lonely sticking night
Along a scarlet road
Embracing the darkness
With rum laden thighs
I bought myself a prostitute
Its what it took to feel unity
In deafening silence
Time stands still
You are part of me!
It will be forever!
Was i part of you?

My heart ?
?.. was innocence
with touching simulation
of forged utterances
that kept what was within
?.. was enduring
with deceiving rhythm
of madness and lust
to desire a loveless bed
?.. was proud
with false jubilance
to admit it was aglow
on fire for you alone
?.. was obstinate
with a rebellious beating
of its reluctance to agree
that love had struck it's hold
?.. is now empty
with tears that say
it was not mine
to lose or give away
