Dressage
Moving with such grace
At a steady rhythmical pace
Watching muscle rippling to time
Passing carefully from sign to sign
Each step measured and following a plan
To get from 'A' to 'C' if he can
Without tripping or slipping
But with true steps he starts skipping
Arching his crest and forelock twitching
Ears at rest and tail just switching
Stops still and square
Finishes as a pair
In perfect harmony of time and motion
Stirring in all that see sublime emotion
