Supergran

**Written in 3rd year primary (aged 9/10) ; I should point out, this
was before the eighties TV show "Supergran", so they copied ME!**

My gran's name is Supergran
Her real name is "Toots"
She is always going round
in a cape and wellie boots

She has speed like a missile
And does her jobs like mad
My parents think she's very quick
Especially my dad

My gran can run very fast
1000 miles per hour at best
She fixes engines on her clothes
And even on her vest

Gran's favourite sport is horse-racing
Her favourite horse is Ned
But Gran doesn't ride him
Ned rides on Gran instead

My gran is also very strong
Her muscles are like big stones
But if you're thinking that is big
Then you should see her bones

So if you see a muscular pensioner
It's no mystery
Just remember what I have said
Then you'll know who it will be
