A poem for Daddy

You set me free
Left me in the darkness
where I cannot see
not even light to guide me.

Going in the wrong direction
I've taken the wrong path
Don't know where t turn
You've pushed me of the track.

Do you care at all,
That I am the daughter your wife bore?
You haven't seen me in years
but its I that sheds the tears.

You undid the chain
That realised all the pain
You caused me the misery
And it still hurts me.

I don't tempt fate
As it is already too late
I've moved on
And no-one's taken your place.
