Granny's in my house
I saw her on the stairs
I smelled her flowery perfume
And glimpsed her silver hair
Granny's in my bedroom
To look at the curtains she bought
But she left when she heard me
Was she afraid she'd be caught
Granny's in my bathroom
The towels are on the floor
I know I turned the light off
I know I closed the door
Granny's in my kitchen
I'm pretty sure of that
I heard a cupboard door shut
And something's upset my cat
Granny's in my living room
I'm sure I heard the tv
I wish she'd go and rest
It's almost half past three
But you dont worry me Granny
I'm staying as calm as I can
Though you've been dead for many years
Your're still my dear old nan
