THE SKY AT NIGHT.

I love to wander out at night,

And gaze up at the stars so bright.

The calmness of the moonlit sky,

Reminds me of those days gone by.

Those gems that twinkle in the dark,

Within my soul, they make their mark.

Those memories that make me smile,

Came back to me, just for a while.

Looking back throughout those years,

That brought me joy, but also tears.

Staring at the moon I see,

A bright new life awaiting me.

The past has gone, the future's here,

But only I can bring this near.

It's up to me to go ahead,

Forget the past , and forward tread.

My thanks to you, dear friendly moon,

For helping me through a time of gloom.

Your loving face that appeared so bright,

Will always remind me of this special night.
