HAPPY DAZE?

Into the valley of indifference he stared
And as he moved on he wondered if anyone cared
For the things in his life that seemed so worthwhile,
Would anyone notice a wave or a smile?
Or would it still be the same old story of late,
Everything moving at too fast a pace
On a road going nowhere, full of those whose only goal is
To speed into oblivion, keeping up with the Dow Joneses.
