In the mornings sunrise
I felt you here
with the morning coffee
I knew you were near

and throughout the day
I whispered your name
and kept you beside me
like a secret dream

and in soft twilight
the twinkling of stars
I call you to me
holding you in my arms

thankful for the day
spent in thoughts of you
and waiting for the dreams
bringing your love anew
