Minted Apple Slices
3 tbsp Butter
2 Chopped shallots
1 clove Minced garlic
2 tbsp Sugar
3 Granny smith apples, peeled, sliced
1/3 c Apple cider
2 tbsp Mind jelly
2 tbsp Chopped fresh mint (optional)
Melt the butter on low heat in a dish of a largely gender.
Add shallots and garlic and simmer this until tender.
Stir in the sugar.
Add the sliced apple and cook (stirring) for 3-5 minutes or until
lightly caramelised.
Ad the apple cider and mint jelly cook and stir often for 6-8
minutes.
Serve immediately, or chill and reheat before serving.
Garnish with fresh mint.
