FED UP!

As I sit here racking brain cells, of not many I must admit
I watch the drizzle and fallen leaves and smoke and bits of grit
The rain is on my window which I cleaned and polished good
I want the sun to shine on me I don't want the on coming flood
The clouds are slowly growing, hiding all but a bit of sky
I turn my eyes up to the light and ask the main man, Why?
We get a few days sunshine, then a weeks worth of rain
The washing hangs on the heaters where it will, for days remain
But wait a minute, do not blink I see a yellow ray
I think the sun is coming out and children for to play
The puddles are much smaller the hedge's leaves are dry
I watch the sky just open up and wait for the sun to try.
The wind is slowly stopping and the dust has settled down
Sorry got to rush now, I need some shopping from the town
