aliens journey to earth

I went to earth the other day
The place where every dream comes true
A place with flowers, where grass is green
And fish swim in a sea of blue
I wish our planet was like that
I wish we hadn’t ruined it
With cities, smoke, and industry
With forests we’ve killed and fires we’ve lit
Right now we’re looking for a home
Searching the whole of outer space
To find a place to call our own
Like the one owned by the human race
Our old place died a while ago
Due to neglect and harmful fun
And nowhere is there one the same
With warmth and energy from the sun
But earthlings all respect their world
They treat it with the greatest care
Their home will never be like ours
And fall into deep disrepair
I went to earth the other day
The place where every dream comes true
A place with flowers, where grass is green
And fish swim in a sea of blue
