(AN-I wrote this after studying WWII in History. In case someone
from my school sees this, no, I was not inspired by Amanda Orndorf.
Anyway, for those of you not familar with Kristallnacht, it was a
Germna raid of Jews, and these was a lot of glass broken, hence 'The
Crystal Night.' This poem does so little justice.)
Glassy Road
It looks as though the stars have shattered
A million shards on the night sky road
But none of this glass came from the Heavens
This glass came from us
Windows, sculptures, all of the above
If only this glass could shine in the sky!
Instead of this black street
On this Crystal Night.
