Idealistic Wishing

(A/N: Thank you, Mrs. Little. Thank you.)
Just once, I'd like to dance freely
As a lucky girl portrayed by Renoir.
With my glimmering hair catching the sweet air.
Moving in perfection with another idealist.
I'd press myself onto him and he'd lean on me
A symbiotic dependency.
?Yet he'd prop me up on a pedestal of ivory
And twirl me around like a music box doll.
As a gift for me, a smile of strung pearls
A gift well chosen and returned sincerely.
We'd spin and swirl with animalistic precision
Both somehow grateful for the other's lifting movements,
Showing thanks with our hands and eyes.
And every eye displays emerald envy
As I press against him and he leans on me
In some symbiotic dependency that can never be.
