Chance open the gate
Walk the path to unknown ends
Dare darkness and knock

Echoes of the old ways

dunk for apples
trick or treat
the laughter permeates
chill Winter's onset
where hollow pumpkin lanterns
blaze the trail to woodland walks
and reflections of the wicker
weave the spine with blood
spilt from the sacrificial lamb
