Speechless

Want to say what I feel but my brain's boiling like ice,
Tearing my paper skin, wishing to start again.
Black treacle spewing from my open mouth, throat gagging,
Spitting out these images that anchor me down.
Running still, I will climb the steepest fall,
Slicing chunks of butter rock with silver fingers.
Screaming out silence, my head in a vice,
Apple crunch my way through wood until somebody hears.
Sliming slug, coiling up and twisting on its cling film traik,
Pushing through matted toffee hair, breathing out goo.
Swimming up concrete until I find my way down,
Gulping handfuls of soil like liquid, silk tea.
Want to say what I feel but my lip is dragging thick cream,
Want to say what I feel but my bursting slop of heart is oozing
tears.
