A Stranger in my Bedroom

Stranger In My Bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a cold and dark November Morning at 3am
We were all sound asleep in our beds
When I faintly heard noices down stairs
Thinking it was only the cats I did not move
Then I heard more noises at the top of the stairs
My bedroom door slowly opened
As my children slept peacefully in there beds
Someone walked into my bedroom
I heard the sound of a lighter being flicked on
There was a brief light
Believing it was my son I yelled , "what are you doing"
There was silence
I sat up on the edge of my bed and seen a faint light downstairs
I got out of bed and walked down stairs
The house was empty no lights were on
I walked over and to my fear the door was unlocked
I looked around and Knowone was in the house
I ran upstairs and checked the kids who were all sleeping
peacefully
My heart started to race
I picked up the phone and called the police
They came and searched the yard the basement and the house
They did not find anything and then they left
I could not go back to sleep for the fear of someone in my house
I questioned my self all day ...was it my imagination
Later that day I got a call from a police detective
A house on the road behind me was broken into that morning
The fear came back....my heart raced...I felt faint
For I now know there was a Stranger in my bedroom!
