You were born
on the wrong side of the tracks.
Now you say you're never
going crawling back.
Made you're way
into the dirty hostile town.
Bet you're thinking
no one's ever gonna hold you down.
You dig your hole
and now you got to lay in shit.
To run from fear and hate
now your really down in it.
Its destiny
that led you far this time from home.
But now you find out
you're growing old and all alone.
So clutch your beer
or pipe or pretty color pill.
The life you left behind
cursed it even haunts you still.
Seperate your past
from what you are today.
And grow a little bit
farther everyday.
You were born
on the wrong side of the tracks.
And now you say you're never
going crawling back.
