The longing of my heart, my soul, and my mind
Clings to the edge for dear life
The endless canyon, created by the urgency of my solitary spirit
Carves a deeper valley as time lingers and fetters the sore of my
soul
With every second away from you.

Silence encompasses my senses as I sit here gazing
At the reflection of my soul.
The misty haze, and the bluish gray sea of nothingness
Extends to the depths of my existence.
Memories distract my present state of mind, drowning out
The sound of silence.
