When Fairies Fall In Love
Imagine the twinkliest starlit night
When the moon is full and the owl hoots,
Two tiny fairies in wavering flight
All dressed in white from hat to boots
Meet mid air 'bove the shimmering lake
Take one look into each other's sparkly eyes
Suddenly feel the most awake
their hearts aflame with passionate cries.
This is the start of fairy love
Doomed from the outset as well we know
For fairies are a lonesome lot
About their magical business they must go
their beating hearts shortly will be forgot
In the timeless light of the lustrous moon above.
