You did not need much prompting
to abandon your lovely home.
Tap, Tap I went.
Then you jumped
and scuttled off.
You turned around, and waited.
Eyes swivelling, you looked so vulnerable.
Did you leave so easily because you had outgrown your stay?
Or did I convince you to go even though you were not ready?
Now all I have is a lovely shell,
And a hole where you used to be.
And You. I hope you have found a bigger, better place.
