Midnight screams

When you hear the screams at midnight
and the bangings on the door
please dont turn your back against them
They could be dying on the floor
Without your intervention
without your help at all
the suffering will go on and on
until there is no more
So while your make your favourite cuppa
or your resting in your bed
you hear the familier screaming
dont turn your back instead
Please help the defenseless victims
and show them that you care
please ring the local police and help
release them from this nightmare
