Unfinished

Unfinished songs left in unfinished drawers
At some unfinished time
Left unfinished by an unfinished man
Taken away for some unfinished crime
Subjected to trial
In an unfinished courtroom
By twelve unfinished faces
Sentenced to death
By an unfinished judge
who presided over unfinished cases
The unfinished man sat in an unfinished cell
But his dreams remained undiminished
He read the good book to pass the time
Until Jesus said "It is finished"
