Fear

At night when I hear the doors creak,
I feel like getting up but I don't want to speak,
I hear dragon footsteps on the stairs getting closer and closer,
I hear such noise outside the window.

The curtains get blown away from the heavy wind,
dogs barking and cats purring,
People shouting out so loud in the street,
I try to get warm by such heat.

I try to ignore the noise outside and I try to sleep,
But that would never work here in my mind all it does is beep, beep,
beep,
I still hear such ghostly noise downstairs,
Could it be someone in my family trying to trick me and squash
something in my head like lime?,
But then again that would be wrong they won't do that especially at
this time!

Whoever is there I don't wanna get squashed like a little bug,
Or to be laid on the floor like a dirty rug,
I didn't do anything all I did was just be a normal person,
I should just carry my baseball bat smack the persons head.

Oh well whoever you are I don't care,
All I am going to do is just imagine you are not there.
