RUN

RUN.

And she ran.Across the velvet grass,its wet edges slithered beneath her
feet like snakes.It was dark.More of a dark blue.The sky,thundered with
its wild circling grey clouds.

She looked up.Bringing her dark eyes to meet the blurry face that
echoed words in the sky."No more."she wispered.

"why my child?"the voice boomed through the field where she stood.His
voice was grainy.magical almost.
She gazed back up,and her body began to sway.all was a haze.Her eyes
grew tired.She closed them,her body still swaying.

She was thinking,deep inside herself for something.As the time past,she
felt a beautifull sensation on either side of her upper back.
She felt her blood flow faster.Her eyes she opened.

Over her shoulder,she saw and felt the flutter of wings.A smile spread
across her face through the raging wind.the wet claws of rain clung to
her cheeks.She heard the music.The music she had heard about but
never,quite believed.

She took a step forward.It felt so right.She was content.This was what
happiness feels like,she pondered.
She continued out accross the field.
The wind still blew,but she was indestructable.She was loved.
The gift of wings was the greatest gift she ever recieved.

She had power.

Emotions gathered in her mind.Her tears,they fell.Running now,she
searched for the edge of the field.She eventually found it.Breathless
now.With the wings,came emotions and feelings.She felt
sick.Violated.

It was not a field anymore but a cliff.
Steep.Below,lay,not raging waters but a fiery red land.

This is what i deserve.And with that she jumped.

The music grew loud and mighty.Right inside her ears.All around her.She
was the music.
As she fell,down down,her wings kept her,up up.
Right up to the sky.
To the face of the echoing voice.Where the beautifull and enchanting
music had been.

She was now right in front of his eyes.
"I will ask you again,my child",his eyes were warm,brown and
pained,"why?".
She floated there before him,not quite believing any of this.
"I love you"was all she could say,through her tears.
He smiled.

She closed her eyes.She could smell flowers.

He had given her the power to love.

"Use your wings,"were his final words and with that he smiled his warm
smile,stopped the rain and was gone.

Alone in the field she stood.Unsure but at the same time, so sure.She
was going to use her love.Her wings.
