The old jew
Who crawled from the abomination of Belsen
Man,s inhumanity to man
That Hell on earth
Am I lucky?
My tears ebb and flow
Like the ocean
Daily
And the moon that pulls these waters is my flickering memory
Small moments like the sweet voice of
The singing of a young boy in my temple
Catch my breath
And clutch my heart
And the tears burst forth
From some deep emotional well
Trickling dow my wrinkling face
I am the Jew
The old jew
The last of an ever dwindling few
And I await the peace of death and meeting God
And my question to Him is
Why?;
