Astronaut

When at first he saw the stars,
He imagined himself landing on mars
And there before him stood a little green man,
Who smiled a smile and held out his hand.
They walked together through clouds of red smoke,
Little Green man,told some funny jokes.
They ate some cheese, fresh from the moon,
And watched as the dish ran away with the spoon,
And laughed as the cow jumped over the moon.
Then they were sad,it was time to go,
Little Green man waved and said 'Byeeoh'.

And when at last he saw the stars,
He recalled the first time he'd seen Mars.
