My Way

I bend into shapes with space and time
Blending with the people I find
Fascinating for a while.
Like the leafs on the trees in a stormy night
Throw me up and down
Sometimes mild, then wild and loud.
Then I fight and shout the most horrible sounds
Of my distorted thoughts
And wake up with the enemy within.
Rock my boat and let it drown
Down to the ground of my deepest ocean.
Then my arms grow long and strong
Hail me back to Reality Town.
There I'd swim around ten thousand miles or more?
Just for fun.
Nothing stays the same
Yet I know I won't drown.
Light moulded clay
Dried by the days
Hardened cracks of a silently explosive life
Hunger in my eyes
Until I find
And no more lies
Force the water in my eyes
Into streaming waterfalls.
I went my way
For that's my kind
Weak but strong
For now as always.
Don't like being wrong.
I bear my lessons
I'm here for now but I won't be-long!
