Moon Shadows
Through eerie moon
a shadow cast,
What is your secret?
What is your past?
I see through you,
I feel your pain.
You cast more shadows,
always in vain.
Overhead I see,
a whole galaxy is thine.
The whole universe salutes
on thee they shine.
Charcoal etched trees,
bow down in grace.
Black outline shadows,
that you do trace.
Water rippling,
under your dark stare,
shining up again
with cosmic glare.
As I look closer,
I faintly see.
You made a rainbow,
shine down on me.
