Someone once said that
Life is a stage,
That we are the actors;
Our lives the scene.
Although many don't act,
And others are fake,
that's not what the theatre is like.
The scene is set,
Every prop tangible,
Costume specifically designed,
Every actor handpicked,
Their characters purposeful,
Every single detail has meaning, has reason.
But when our curtain goes up,
Although we all have our own subtext,
We don't know what line comes next.
A work of theatre has reason for being.
Can we same the same about our stage?
