CHRIST AS A METAPHOR FOR ELVIS
Two guys, first of all.
One's Jewish, the other might be
(Aron or Aaron?)
One did it with his famously swivelling hips,
the other with his swivelling religion.
The former being Jesus who couldn't keep a lid on it
when it came to dancing to impress the chicks.
Especially Mary Magdalene
Elvis was known as a theological disputant,
Although Jesus never learned to play guitar
Heartbreak Hotel is clearly foretold by the Last Supper.
A well-known set-piece, subject to some serious misconceptions.

(smooth variety only; crunchy is the food of heretics. Fried in Crisco only). Take this coca-cola and this sandwich in remembrance of me, for it is my body and my blood.
(the whole event took place not in some anonymous restaurant but in the dining room of the Jerusalem Holiday Inn, which to this day stands at the end of Lonely Street.
Coincidence seems unlikely)
Graceland, Promised Land. Who are you kidding?
Wooden Heart: eloi, eloi, lama sabacthani
(Father forgive them, they're not rock and roll)
(to be sung a capella)
On one cold Israel morn, another baby child was born in the stable
I always knew Elvis was the Messiah
Uh-huh-huh, amen, Baby.
(Thankyaveramuch)
